Maritime Garter Snake (Thamnophis sirtalis pallidulus)STATUS

Description: Overall appearance is very variable. The ground color of this 30-inches long garter snake may be olive, gray, cinnamon, or tan. The dorsal stripe is often absent or only partially visible. Lateral stripes are usually most visible along their upper edge and obscure along their lower edge. Belly whitish anteriorly and dusky posteriorly. The vague striping and range will identify this snake
